The client is a multinational motorcycle company based out of India. It is also one of India’s largest two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers. The company has a presence in over 60 countries worldwide and sells over 3 million vehicles in a year.
What was the objective of the client?
The client wanted to create a solution that would enrich the riding experience of their customers. The primary intent behind creating the solution was to help riders

How Credencys helped the client in achieving the objective?
Credencys offered an IoT-enabled mobile app solution to which would help the client deliver a great driving experience to their customers. We helped them to choose the right tech stack for the mobile application. Moreover, we also consulted clients for adding a few features based on their high-level requirements.
Key features of the application
Every vehicle that the client manufactured comes with a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster. Riders can connect their smartphones with the cluster by entering the chassis number and creating a profile on the app.
After getting connected, the cluster will display various information such as incoming caller name, message notification, turn by turn navigation, total distance covered in a trip, clock, and smartphone battery, along with all the other necessary stats such as speed, fuel indication, etc.
Riders will be able to receive all the vehicle statistics on his/her smartphone via Bluetooth.
After creating the profile, a rider will have to choose his/her respective vehicle/model. After selecting it, a rider can view the vehicle dashboard, which will show the following statistics such as total distance, average speed, lean angle, and more.
The app provides flexibility to start or end a particular ride manually as well as automatically. The app will consider a "Ride Start" on a vehicle ignition and will consider a "Ride End" when a vehicle turns off.
A rider can view all his/her vehicle and ride/tour statistics in one place. It will help riders drive more efficiently by analyzing their ride/tour.
Do not disturb mode: Enabling this mode will disconnect all the incoming calls while a user is driving.
Auto-reply SMS: Enabling this feature will help riders by automatically sending predefined messages to the incoming caller.
Over-speed alert: Enabling this feature will send an alert to the rider when the vehicle speed crosses its limit. Riders can set exceeding speed limit using the app.
This feature will help drivers to drive safely and distraction-free.
Crash alert: The sensor network inside the vehicle can detect and send a crash alert notification and your real-time location to the pre-defined emergency contacts.
Fuel Indication: Riders will get notified as soon as the vehicle is low on fuel. The app will show the number of kilometers left and provide navigation to the nearest fuel stations.
It will help riders to connect with their loved ones immediately and provide them their location at the time of an accident. Moreover, a rider will no longer have to ponder searching for fuel at the time of an emergency.
Vehicle breakdown & servicing
The “Breakdown Assistant” feature helps riders to send a notification to the nearest service center in case of a breakdown. They will receive a callback from a technician to know more about the problem within a few minutes. Moreover, the app also sends a reminder notification to a user when it's time to service the vehicle.
It will help customers to get quick support from expert technicians at any time regardless of their location. They will no longer have to spend time standing in long queues at the service center.
Create and share tour: Using integrated maps, a user can create, save, and share a tour plan with their friends and family by adding a start point, endpoint, and milestones.
Find my vehicle: The app will automatically save the GPS location of a vehicle as soon as it stops.
Riders will be able to plan tours more efficiently and find their vehicle location from anywhere and at any time.
