The brand has a powerful establishment and a loyal customer base in different countries and Singapore is one of them. They wanted to amaze their customers by providing them a unique online shopping experience by harnessing the potential Augmented Reality. The client wanted to drive immense customer engagement and impact the buying decision of their tech-savvy customers from Singapore.
What was the objective of the client?
Samsung Singapore wanted to have a solution that allows the customers to have a realistic view of how the appliances look in a particular place. They wanted to create an immersive experience for their three products those are refrigerators, televisions, and washing machines.
For refrigerators and televisions, they wanted to deliver personalized experiences along with immersive and interactive product displays. The client wanted to allow customers to augment television in their preferred place with or without a stand. For refrigerators, the buyers can view the exact interior of each refrigerator and they can change the colors as per their defined place.
How Credencys helped the client in achieving the objective?
Credencys developed a consumer mobile app using Augmented Reality for the brand that allows customers to have a 3D view of the products. It helps buyers to have more clarity about products’ look and feel. Integrating advanced AR technologies such as motion tracking, area learning, and depth perception, we enable customers to have an exact view of refrigerators, washing machines, and televisions in their defined space. We developed an admin panel for the client where they can update and manage the appliance details effortlessly and display the information on the consumer app.

3D models development & integration
We have created the high definition 3D models for refrigerators, televisions, and washing machines. Implementing motion tracking, area learning, and depth perception features, we enable customers with an exact view of Samsung appliances in their preferred place.
All the customers need to do is select a product and track the place where they want to set up the appliance using their phones. The 3D model of the selected product will be imposed on the screen.

Customers can interact with the 3D model to view products from different angles. Also, they can apply different colors on the preferred appliances. For refrigerators, we offer 3D models of the interior as well as per the specific design of the product. Similarly, customers can check the television with a stand or without a stand at their selected place.

The app allows customers with one default language is English and other regional languages of India and Singapore. The brand can increase customer engagement by communicating product information in their native language.

The client targets both Singapore & India regions so the app displays only those products that are available in the respective country. From the admin panel, the client can insert all the product detail that customers can access through the consumer AR app.

Through the admin panel, the client can add products along with the descriptions. The product catalog will be displayed in the consumer app. Customers can apply AR elements to get clarity on how the product will look like at their preferred place.
They can shortlist the products and email the list to themselves. They can also add the product in the shopping cart and make a purchase.
Elimination of time overlapping issue for caregivers.
Store locator integration
Integration of Store Locator enables the customers with the list of Samsung stores across Singapore and India along with the store information like address, contact number, email, etc. So customers can visit the physical store to purchase the appliances.
Admin panel manages an online store directory to maintain a database of all the available stores in Singapore & India.
Customers can find the nearby store using the app only and coverts the decision into action quickly.
